Bio: I have been an NHS dentist for 40 years and involved in the training of young dentists, I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and if I had my choice of occupation, I would do the same again. Out with dentistry I enjoy keeping fit especially cycling in the summer. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and as much as possible I will holiday in Majorca and spending time on my boat.

Bio: I Graduated from the University of Dundee in 2011 and joined the practice that summer. I am now a joint vocational trainer with Alison Macaulay and have enjoyed with newly qualified dentists for the past 7 years. I also am a qualified provider of Adult short term orthodontics – both Invisalign and Quick Straight Teeth. In my spare time I enjoy going to dog shows with my 6 Pugs, Chow Chow, 2 corgis and my newest addition my miniature schnauzer.

Bio: I graduated in dentistry from Glasgow 9 years ago but I have actually been in the practice a lot longer having started in reception and nursing when I was 16 so I have now officially been at the practice for half my life this year and love it here. My main interest is helping people with a pain free dentistry as possible. I do like seeing the results of smile makeovers with composite bonding, veneers and crowns. I have also completed my implant training at the BAIRD course in Leeds so I am looking forward to getting started with that. Outside of work I like spending time with family and friends, I like to keep fit and watching and playing football. I like to get out and see new places in the world and since lockdown I have found a new love for the north of Scotland and have joined the Munro walking trend.

Bio: David started working at the Macaulay Dental Practice in 2018, in a part-time capacity limited to placing and restoring of dental implants. After graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1987, he worked in different parts of Scotland and London, carrying out a large number of dental sedations, wisdom tooth extractions and advanced dental implant restorations. He gained his MSc in Implant Dentistry, after 3 years of further postgraduate study at the University of Warwick. He was appointed as an honorary teacher and an MSc supervisor at the same university till 2019. He mentors other dentists in the placement and restoration of dental implants and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of England by examination in 2013. Due to his broad experience, David has a calm and confident approach in treating all his patients. He speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

When not at work I enjoy hill walking and exercising.

Bio: I started working at Macaulay Dental Practice August 2023, I am enjoying my time at Macaulay Dental Practice and being part of the dental team. I am now looking to go and complete my first aid course after completing my CPR training, In my spare time I enjoy doing escape rooms, spending time with my friends and family, going on holidays and spoiling my dog.
Had to pay in advance cause I missed a previous appointment, that was on me, I am happy with that as the money went off my bill, but I got a Check up and a scale and polish in one day, thank you guys so much, merry Christmas to you all.
I have been attending this clinic for decades. Every member of staff is experienced, friendly, professional and highly competent, whether a dentist, nurse, hygienist or receptionist.
Every member of this practice are amazing with my needs. They kept me calm and always smile with their jokes. If u have any worries or doubts u shouldn't. In my honestly the best place in Scotland without a doubt.
If I could give more than five stars I would without a doubt. Extremely good at what they do and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Was such a delight with my kid who's Extremely terrified, they spoke to her with respect and never once felt offended with how they treated my daughter.
Recently had to get emergency work done here, the staff were amazing, I was seen on time and treated with respect. I had everything thoroughly explained to me so that I understood. I Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great team.
